New Cuddly Koala Design
The coin’s reverse design depicts an adorable image of a mother and baby koala sitting on a tree branch.
Remarkable ‘Shimmer’ Background
The image, which incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, appears on a unique ‘shimmer’ background.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse.
