Legal Tender Circulating Coins

The set includes every legal tender circulating coin of the realm - ₤2, ₤1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p – featuring their definitive reverse designs.  Later in 2008 these designs will be changing, making this annual set the last one to feature the existing reverses.

Olympics Commemorative £2

Marking the centenary of the first London Olympics, the coin’s design features a running track incorporating the anniversary date 1908.  The reverse includes the words LONDON OLYMPIC CENTENARY, while the incuse edge inscription, THE 4TH OLYMPIAD LONDON, completes the design.

Her Majesty The Queen Obverse

The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Presentation Display Folder

The set is displayed in an informative and fully illustrated presentation folder detailing the history of the £ (pound) from Anglo-Saxon times to the present day.
