The coin’s reverse combines struck and coloured pictorial elements representing the
Northern Territory. As well as a coloured composition symbolising world heritage listed
areas of the Territory’s landscape, the design includes an image of a crocodile and Sturt's
Desert Rose, its floral emblem.
