The coin’s reverse combines struck and coloured pictorial elements representing Victoria.  As well as a coloured composition of Melbourne’s Flinders Street Station and an iconic tram, the design includes a Little Penguin, a star of the ‘Penguin Parade’ on Phillip Island, and Common Heath, the State floral emblem.

The coin’s reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Australian Legal Tender

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
