Western Australia. As well as a coloured composition featuring the Perth city skyline and
the Swan River, the design includes a kangaroo, and the State’s floral emblem, a Red and
Green Kangaroo Paw.

The coin’s reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears
the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
