The coin’s reverse portrays a 60c commemorative stamp issued by Australia Post. The design features a coloured portrait of Saint Mary MacKillop and includes a representation of St Mary MacKillop’s signature, the dates 1842-1909 and the word AUSTRALIA.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin portrays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and the 2010 year-date.
60c Commemorative Stamp
The coin is accompanied by the actual 60c Australia Post stamp, like the coin, it is protected in a capsule to keep it in mint condition forever.
