Original 2013 Koala Reverse Design
The reverse design depicts a charming image of an adult koala resting on the fork of a eucalyptus tree and incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and 2013 year-date. Delicate frosting graces the table of this beautiful coin.
Australian Legal Tender
The coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the undisputed guarantee of its weight and purity. The coin’s obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II bordered by the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA and the monetary denomination.
Mint-To-Order
Like its predecessors, the Australian Koala 2013 1/10oz Silver Coin will be produced on a mint-to-order basis. Production of this coin will close after 12 months from its release, at which time The Perth Mint will declare the coin’s official mintage.
