This Diamond Eye kilo coin from the Australian Lunar Silver Coin Series celebrates the Year of the Tiger with a design depicting a tiger and its Chinese lunar year-date.

Hand Set Diamond

The design incorporates 0.02-carat hand set diamonds in the tiger’s eyes. Other design elements on the coin's reverse include the Chinese character for ‘tiger’ and a symbolic border of yellow bats and purple clouds - colours traditionally used on the Chinese Emperor's robe.

This specimen quality Diamond Eye coin is struck from a massive 1 kilo of 99.9% pure silver.

Australian Legal Tender

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2007 year-date on the obverse.
