Year of the Rooster Design In 2005, the Australian Lunar Silver Proof Issue celebrates the Year of the Rooster with a design featuring a rooster with a rising sun and the flower of a camellia, a Chinese native plant. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design.
