Year of the Rooster Design In 2005, the Australian Lunar Silver Proof Issue celebrates the Year of the Rooster with a design featuring a rooster with a rising sun and the flower of a camellia, a Chinese native plant. The Chinese character for ‘rooster’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design. Flawless Proof Quality This Three-Coin Collection comprises a 2oz, 1oz and 1/2oz coin, each struck from 99.9% pure silver in flawless proof quality.
