The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series pays tribute to our nation’s servicemen and women and tells the remarkable story of Australia’s involvement in the First World War. Since 2014, the series has been issued annually with the final coins scheduled for release in 2018.
Series subscriptions are available for collectors who wish to guarantee ownership of all five of the annual three-coin sets issued between 2014 and 2018.

The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series 2017 1/2oz Silver Proof Three-Coin Set
The 2017 three-coin set depicts symbolic images and themes that represent Australia’s involvement on the Western Front and in the Middle East. This silver coloured trio commemorates the Third Battle of Ypres, the 4th Light Horse Brigade and the Front Line Angels.
EHPHEMERA - Returned from Active Service Badge (replica only)
The Department of Defence originally awarded the Returned from Active Service Badge (RASB) to members of Australia’s military forces who had served overseas during the First World War. On becoming civilians again, former personnel were entitled to wear the Badge publicly as tangible evidence of their participation in the War. Today, the RASB continues to recognise the military service and sacrifice of those who wear it while dressed in civilian attire.

The ANZAC Spirit 100th Anniversary Coin Series 2016 1/2oz Silver Proof Three-Coin Set
With a focus on Australia and New Zealand’s involvement on the Western Front, the 2016 three-coin set includes a coin depicting a representation of one of the original photographs from the Louis and Antoinette Thuillier collection. The design features a caucasian Australian soldier alongside an unknown Indigenous Australian soldier, a tribute to Peter Corlett’s Cobbers statue and an image of the Roll of Honour at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
EHPHEMERA – Replica of a silk postcard
The 2016 ephemera is a replica of an embroidered silk postcard produced during the First World War and details the Australian flag, a branch of Golden Wattle and the words ‘Australia For Ever’.

One hundred years after the Gallipoli campaign, the 2015 three-coin set commemorates the actions that earned the Anzacs a special place in Australian history. The legend they helped forge endures to the present day, and it is against their deeds that Australian service personnel continue to measure themselves.
EHPHEMERA – Letter from the Harper family of Guildford, Western Australia
Gresley and Wilfred Harper were among the hundreds of men of the Australian Light Horse who lost their lives during the doomed charge at the Battle of Nek on 7 August 1915. This is a reproduction of the letter sent from their elder brother Walter to his sister Clara (the mother of Gresley and Wilfred), advising her that both boys had been killed outright and that they had been buried the following day near the trenches.

The 2014 three-coin set features a trio of commemoratives which depict images from World War I. They represent Australia’s first action, answering the call to enlist, and bidding farewell to family.
