Coloured Reverse Design The coin's coloured reverse design portrays Dame Edna wearing a pair of her trademark spectacles, accompanied by the words DAME EDNA EVERAGE 50TH ANNIVERSARY 1956-2006.
'P' Mintmark The design also incorporates The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.
Legal Tender Status Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Presentation Packaging The coin comes in an illustrated box depicting a stage curtain and a pair of flamboyant glossy white spectacles on the lid. The coin rests on a blue display plinth, which may be lifted out of the box for closer inspection of the coin.
