Fauna Gold Series

In each year of the Discover Australia program, the Fauna Gold Series comprises five designs portraying iconic Australian animals. In 2006, the coins depict:

• Saltwater Crocodile
• Grey Kangaroo
• Emu
• Koala
• Kookaburra

Each coin is struck from 1/2oz, 1/10oz and 1/25oz of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality.  No more than 1,000 of each 1/2oz coin, 2,500 of each 1/10oz coin, and 25,000 of each 1/25oz coin will be released.
