Landmarks Silver Series

In each year of the Discover Australia program, the Landmarks Silver Series comprises five coloured designs portraying iconic Australian cities and attractions. In 2007, the coins depict:

• Gold Coast
• Phillip Island
• Port Arthur
• Adelaide
• Sydney

Each coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. No more than 7,500 of each 1oz silver coin will be released.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coins depict Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
