Flora Platinum Series

In each year of the Discover Australia program, the Flora Platinum Series comprises five coloured designs portraying iconic Australian plants and flowers. In 2006, the coins depict:

• Sturt’s Desert Rose
• Royal Bluebell
• Red and Green Kangaroo Paw
• Common Pink Heath

Each coin is struck from 1/2oz and 1/10oz of 99.95% pure platinum in proof quality.  No more than 1,000 of each 1/2oz coin and 2,500 of each 1/10oz coin will be released.
