This Australian Lunar silver coin celebrates the Year of the Dragon. This coin’s reverse depicts a dragon, which has been gilded in 24-carat gold. The design also includes the Chinese character for ‘dragon’, and a border of five bats among the clouds, symbolising health, peace and prosperity.

The specimen quality coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver with selective 24-carat gilding on the reverse.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, it features Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
