Gilded Rooster Design This Australian Lunar silver coin celebrates the Year of the Rooster. This coin’s reverse depicts a rooster, which has been gilded in 24-carat gold. The design also includes the rising sun and a camellia, the Chinese character for ‘rooster’, and a border of five bats among the clouds, symbolising health, peace and prosperity.
99.9% Pure Silver The specimen quality coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver with selective 24-carat gilding on the reverse.
Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, it features Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Packaging & Certificates This coin is housed in a gold-coloured presentation case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
