$2 Coin The $2 coin, which replaced the $2 note in 1988, depicts an Aboriginal tribal elder set against a background of the Southern Cross and native grass trees.
2005 $1 Kangaroo Coin Created by Indigenous artist Charmaine Cole, the image of the kangaroo is surrounded by a pattern representing ‘new beginnings’.
1988 Bicentennial $10 Banknote The commemorative $10 note issued in 1988 portrays an Aboriginal Youth, a Morning Star Pole and ancient rock paintings.
