Amazing 'Moving Image' Reverse
In 2007, this amazing coin from the Australian Lunar Silver Coin Series celebrates the Year of the Pig with a lenticular image comprising 24 coloured frames of a young pig with mountainous scenery in the background. As the viewing angle of the coin is changed, the frames produce a movie-like sequence showing the pig walking on grass. The image is bordered by a stylised bamboo fence incorporating the Chinese character for 'pig' and the Chinese characters meaning 'well fed’ and ‘abundance'.

This coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, it features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
