Australia’s First Saint
The 1/10oz gold proof coin’s reverse depicts a coloured image of Saint Mary MacKillop. The design also incorporates the inscription SAINT MARY MACKILLOP FIRST AUSTRALIAN SAINT, the 2010 year-date and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The obverse of each coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
Australian Legal Tender
Each coin is issued as Australian legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
Limited Mintage
No more than 2,010 of these coins will be released.
Presentation Packaging
Each coin is housed in a presentation case and custom-designed shipper incorporating a coloured portrait of Mary MacKillop, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
