The Perth Mint is proud to announce the release of four individual $1 coins and a four-coin set to mark the 20th Birthday of The Wiggles.
Coloured Reverse Design
The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured representation of The Wiggles four band members playing music. The inscription reads CELEBRATING 20 YEARS and the dates 1991 – 2011. The Wiggles trademark and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.
Australian Legal Tender
Struck by The Perth Mint from aluminium bronze, each coin is issued as Australian legal tender and depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination of $1 on the obverse.
Presentation Packaging
The coin is housed in a spectacular guitar-shaped presentation card and presentation envelope.
