Coloured Reverse Design
The coin’s reverse portrays an adult German Shepherd and a puppy in colour. The design includes the silhouettes of policemen, a helicopter, a car and a dog, as well as a decorative pattern of paw prints. The coin’s reverse also includes the inscriptions WORKING DOGS – GERMAN SHEPHERD and POLICE DOG.
Tuvalu Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the coin’s obverse depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2011 year-date and the monetary denomination.
