Ordering Goods
Orders can only be placed by people legally able to engage in a contract. Any order placed by you via this Web Site is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified in this website at the time you place your order. The Mint reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, but without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this website, an error in your order or a failure in your payment.
Your ability to purchase products and services from this the website may be terminated at any time by the Mint without notice. The products and services offered for sale are only available to individuals who can make legally binding contracts.
Order Notification
Upon receipt of your order, the Mint will issue you with an email notification, listing the items ordered, the total product and shipping charges, delivery address and shipping carrier. This will not include any customs duties, local taxes or bank fees. This is a confirmation that we have received your order, not a confirmation of acceptance or processing.
Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST)
All orders placed within Australia are subject to the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). All Australian prices are GST inclusive. Any orders placed outside Australia for delivery within Australia are also subject to GST. Any International Orders are GST free.
Currency & Conversions
Transactions via The Perth Mint Online Shop are carried out in Australian dollars (AUS$) and processed through an international banking system. International orders are charged in Australian dollars at the exchange rate of the day. Your final bill will be determined by the exchange rate applied by your payment services provider at the time the charge is recorded, plus any fees applied by your payment services provider. For an indication of how other currencies convert to Australian dollars or another currency, use our online currency converter. These rates are indicative only.
Credit Card Purchases
Important Notice for First Time Perth Mint Customers: New customers paying by Credit Card for the first time, may be asked to provide payment by bank transfer. This will not apply to repeat customers.
Product Availability
Unless stated otherwise, all products ordered via The Perth Mint Online Shop are available at the time of ordering. Any item unavailable online may be available via a back order. Queries about back orders should be directed to Customer Service on (61 8) 9421 7218 or email orders@perthmint.com.au.
Product Prices
Prices of products, services, delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. The availability of products and services may change from time to time. The Mint retains title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products. Be aware, that due to varying market conditions in Australia and overseas, prices of products sold via The Perth Mint Online Shop may vary between countries.
Dispatch
Orders are dispatched from The Perth Mint during normal Western Australian business hours.
Delivery Costs
We work hard every day to ensure the lowest possible delivery cost. Delivery costs are based on the item count, the total order value and the delivery destination. Once items have been added to the shopping cart an estimated delivery cost will be displayed. This will be confirmed once a delivery address has been added during Step 2 of the checkout process. Special Delivery Charges may be applicable for heavy or oversized items.

Acceptance of Delivery
Due to the valuable nature of Perth Mint products, we require a signature from an authorised person for your delivery at your nominated delivery address. Products will be deemed received by you, if accepted by a person at your nominated delivery address. Insurance applies until the order is delivered to your nominated address. Delivery details must include a daytime contact telephone number.
*Post Office boxes cannot be used for deliveries by FedEx.
International Import Charges & Taxes
Overseas deliveries may be subject to import charges and other local taxes. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer. Customs restrictions may also apply.
Date on Coins
The year-date on coins described on this website does not necessarily indicate the year of release or the year they were minted.
Mint Guarantee: 30 Day Refund (excluding bullion purchases)
If within 30 days you are unhappy with any purchase made from The Perth Mint online shop, we will happily refund the full purchase price, less shipping, when you return it to us. This guarantee is applicable to Website and Mail Orders only, and excludes bullion purchases.
Should you require a refund, please send an email to orders@perthmint.com.au or phone (61 8) 9421 7218 or fax (61 8) 9225 5012 within 30 days of the purchase date. Approval must be arranged before goods can be returned.
Complaints
The Perth Mint has a formal complaints procedure and any complaints should be emailed to orders@perthmint.com.au. A reply will be sent notifying you of what action is being taken and when it will be resolved.
Jurisdiction
The Perth Mint is based in Perth, Western Australia and operates within the normal laws of commerce under Australian business law. The normal laws of international commerce apply to international transactions. Any disputes will be held under Western Australian Law in a Western Australian Court of Law.
Online Rewards Credits - "Go Green Promotion"
- To be eligible for $10 Online Reward Credits participants must choose to receive information from The Perth Mint exclusively by email.
- The $10 Online Reward Credits are only valid on purchases made on the Perth Mint website.
