Located in Perth, Western Australia, and still operating in our original premises at the east end of the city, The Perth Mint is a premier tourist destination. Through our unique combination of activities, exhibitions and demonstrations, we provide visitors the rare opportunity to discover the magic, allure and wonder of gold.
Visit us today to discover the tremendous impact that the discovery of gold has had on shaping Western Australia when you take part in one of our hourly guided heritage walks, during which you will see the world’s biggest gold coin, witness the amazing spectacle of a traditional gold pour, find out what your weight is worth in gold, and engrave your very own medallion!
You can also discover an array of golden treasures in our elegantly appointed retail shop, and enjoy light refreshments in the alfresco dining area of our courtyard café.
